Bill Dotson, RockerRisk

Cyber insurance expert, Bill Dotson, is a virtual CIO and IT advisor at RockerRisk, a consulting firm helping organizations mitigate their technology risk and prepare to purchase cyber insurance from existing insurance providers. Bill has been in the technology industry since his early twenties, and has founded and sold multiple tech companies before starting Rocker with his business partner.

IT security, hacking, data breaches, phishing… We hear about these on a daily basis and often want to throw our hands up or go back to pen and paper. Bill will walk us through realistic ways to approach security for your office and home through stories from companies he’s helped across the US. He’s often remembered as “that guy who scared us” by organizations who hire him to speak.

Garry Adams Award

The Midwest Wholesale Distributor Conference and the industry as a whole lost a true friend and advocate in 2010 with the passing of Garry Adams, President of the Dittman Adams Company. Garry was part of the team that took the Midwest Wholesale Distributors Conference (formerly the Tri-State Convention) from a vision to reality. He never stopped believing in the opportunities that the future holds for the wholesale distribution industry and the c-store distribution channel.

The annual Garry Adams Memorial Award has been created with the encouragement and support of many of Garry’s friends and colleagues from all levels of the industry to recognize an individual who shares some of Garry’s strongest and most admirable traits …
